Taken about an hour after it was finished, done by Donnie Pearce at Little John’s Tattoo in Greensboro, NC.

This tattoo means a lot to me and it goes much further than my love for the band Trash Talk, though they are one of my favorite bands and I can really relate to the band’s music and lyrics.

It represents my self destructive habits and behaviors, which are only worsened by the deep, lifelong depression that I deal with. That also includes relationships that have been destroyed in my life. I can look at this when I’m depressed like this in the future, however, and be reminded of this period of my life and that I’ve been through it, survived it, and will once again.

It represents not having peace within myself. It means destroy all of the standards and structures set by religion and society that tell you how you need to feel, think, and live and live the life that you want to live. In order to instill new ideas you need to destroy the old ones. It represents my mistrust and opposition of the government. Anger is a good thing and I believe it should be used in a productive manner to make a difference to the things that you feel are wrong.
